Decided to start taking photos of my outfits specially since after this past weekend i went to tanger outlets and made my closet more "chic" with specific items.

Today i wore a long striped scarf from Espirit that i purchased for $9 :) I have yoga pants on (shhhhh) and a black button down top from Old Navy that i got for $7 ;) (paired with old Steve Madden cognac boots)

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

 So everyone knows that I don't cook... EVER! I used to cook when I was in Stony Book University living on campus with NO meal plan lol.... TORTUREan ! I survived off pasta and quesadillas and off my boyfriends cooking! (which is awesome).

So yesterday I decided to give the kitchen a try.  I messaged my friend Jasmin (who is an awesome cook) and she told me how to make alfredo sauce from scratch.... SO EASY! 

First i started with boiling the pasta and cooking the chicken because those two take a while....  I boiled the pasta with a little virgin olive oil and salt.  I broke them in half too so they wouldn't stick out like the photo below.

I seasoned the chicken with garlic and onion, adobo, black pepper and oregano.

I cooked the chicken and the pasta.  Once that was done I went ahead and did the sauce.  I poured half pint into a pan and let it heat up.  Then i poured a little more than half a cup of parmesan cheese into it and stirred it together until i saw it was as creamy as I wanted it.  (the longer you leave it the thicker it gets).

I put salt and pepper and put TOO MUCH SALT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (I instantly thought- good thing i bought alfredo sauce already made for back-up) BUT I didnt want this to go to waste soooooo I poured milk in it so it wouldn't be so salty and it worked! came out perfect! and tastes soooooo good! Olive Garden GOOD! lol!

Royal nails...

This weekend, like all weekends, I made my rounds at CVS. I LOVE CVS! they always give me extra bucks and discounts and free stuff.  Its awesome.  This past week was no different.  I walked in and went straight to my favorite section, the make-up nail care section. 

They had all Revlon Top Speed fast dry nail colors on sale for $4.99.  And as if that wasn't awesome enough they had buy one get $3 bucks back so it was like getting it for $1.99.  How cool.
