Things to do in NYC on Memorial Day Weekend 2011...

Are you a bore just like me and staying in NYC for Memorial Day weekend? lol no sweat here are a few things you can do to make your weekend fun!

Visit the MET museum to view the "Savage Beauty" exhibit by Alexander McQueen.
Tickets are only $10 if you have a student ID.

Gantry Plaza State Park

Have a picnic at the park, go rollerblading while enjoying the beautiful view of the City from Gantry Park in Long Island City.

Featherlicious! Feather accessories...

So if you know me... you know that I tend to not like things without giving them a try or a chance... but to my defense these are things that I personally think I'm not capable of rocking or just don't mesh well with my personality.

Take white shoes for example... TACKY! I dislike white shoes unless they are  sandals or flip flops.... I strongly dislike shirts that have built in necklaces lol they look so cheap to me! I rather wear a T-shirt than a shirt like that.  Or jeans with soo much rhinestones on them or Jeans with color stitching... ew!

I felt the same way about feather earrings... and possibly still may feel that way about them but for some reason I am growing some kind of weird affection for feather period.  Not necessarily feather earrings but feather itself. So i decided i am going to MAKE feather earrings, feather necklace, feather key chain and feather headband and I will rock it! and ROCK IT Proud lol.

Here's the feathers i picked up at a fishing place on 27 street.

Top speed Electric Revlon nail polish.  It dried sooo fast! I really love it.  Its now one of my fave nail polishes :)

I love temporary anything because it gives me a sense of "spontanousness" and "adventure"... something new to try and whats the worse it can happen right? it just temporary!.

I love temporary color hair extensions... the ones you can put in your hair whenever you feel like rocking out.  Yuli had a blue strand when we went to see "Something Borrowed" and it looked suuuper cool.

Florals...

Florals around my neck! You've previously seen my obsession with this scarf i got for Christmas from my friend Yuli... here it is again :)

Bought these Steve Madden flats for $30 at Strawberry 2 days ago.. Last pair.. its like they were waiting for me! Peep toe, ruffle flower and floral print.. love them!

Rocking my 3 zip CHARLEY 5.0 jeggings too :)

I took a picture of this girl because I loved her outfit.

Although its spring time and this outfit has fall colors I loved the feel and look of it.

Denim top, black leggings and brown combat boots annnnnd to add color, purple scarf.  Although I don't wear black and brown because I think it looks REALLY ugly...this outfit i might just do!

Relax Missy

I finally got my hands on Relax Missy foldable ballet flats!

You've seen the Rollable flats being sold in pharmacy's for about $10 and you've seen the Dr. Scholls Fast Flats ...all nice and relatively cheap but thats all they are... cheap!

I cannot stand cheap flats... the flats that you wear once and.. thats it!

So take a look a what foldable standard clutch flats SHOULD look like...

They come packaged in the cutest pink box ever... They bring a bigger bag to carry your heels...

This is a Coach Standard clutch that I tend to wear A LOT and realized that they do fit in it!!!! Snug but they fit just fine...

Leaving room for my lipgloss, cellphone and camera... :)

....and can I just tell you how comfortable they are? To the point I'd love to wear these on a regular basis!! (Which i will start doing while at work :) )

The cute design doesnt say cheap at all!!!!
